To be a professional means having mastery of the skills needed for the field, so for me it would require having mastery in skills of Communication.
Overview of my professional goals
I have several career goals I would like to accomplish, which are starting a career for the Disney Company, becoming an analyst or broadcaster for ESPN/NFL Network, or a big-time Hollywood blockbuster actor. These career paths appeal to me because they are career paths connected to my interests. I love discussing sports with people especially when we share the love for the same teams, which is why I would love to be on TV talking about my teams and favorite players.

COM 490 Internship Essay
COM490, the internship course, provided an opportunity to become a critically engaged citizen. I had the chance to participate in many projects with Cyclone Social, the company I interned at that creates and manages the content and social media for companies locally and throughout the country. I communicated with several people, from the clients of Cyclone Social to influencers on social media.
COM 238 Ethnography Essay
This essay is from COM238, which did not appear on the objectives class list, but I felt like I demonstrated how media influenced people in our society. This ethnology essay analyzed the CDC safety measures for the COVID-19 pandemic. It combined several elements learned throughout COM 238 (Media Culture and Society) from political, media consumption, and ideology teachings. In addition, the article consisted of research and survey data from various age groups from co-workers and family members.
